The Asian continent, home to several parent civilizations and over half of humanity, is today at a crossroads. Pressing issues - regarding trade, security, identity and the environment to name just a few- transcend our national and historical boundaries. As the local and the plural jostle with the global evolving skills, we need an eco-system of empowerment with innovative entrepreneurship to script a sustainable future for challenged cultural continuum.

The concerns of The Asian Heritage Foundation encompass the cultures, traditions, public affairs, arts and sciences of all regions of Asia. It initiates programs that span research and documentation, training and transmission, promotion & conservation of the continent’s diverse heritage. It seeks civil society participation in a movement for a modern continent by serving international collaborations involving cross-cultural dialogue. It aims to support projects that reconcile the frictions between people, technology and nature, between the old and new, the East and West that are manifest in cultural production and services.

The mission of the Asian Heritage Foundation (AHF) is to focus on the revival of traditional knowledge systems with skill-based rural development. The foundation seeks to create sustainable livelihoods for rural and tribal artisans through design-led initiatives, impacting thousands of artisans by enhancing their skills and economic opportunities. AHF strives to promote eco-friendly lifestyles and empower vulnerable communities by reintroducing and sustaining their traditional livelihoods with innovative and high-end design interventions. 

The vision of the Asian Heritage Foundation is to create an ecosystem of empowerment through innovative entrepreneurship that scripts a sustainable future for the cultural continuum facing challenges today. The foundation aims to support and lead in the promotion and conservation of Asia's diverse heritage through international collaborations and cross-cultural dialogues. It seeks to bridge the gaps between people, technology, and nature, and reconcile the frictions between traditional and modern, East and West, through cultural production and services. AHF envisions a modern continent where civil society actively participates in preserving and celebrating the rich and varied heritage of Asia.
